It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Chandler of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Montgomery and Ruth Inez Deaton Fortenberry; her husband John Thomas "Junior" Chandler; her grandson Mark Chandler; and her siblings, Ed, Hubert Fortenberry, Annie Mae Ford and Betty Fortenberry.
She is survived by: her children, Sheron Robertson (Tom), Steve Chandler (Linda), Ronald Chandler (Debbie), Eddie Chandler (Michelle), Phillip Chandler, Brent Chandler (Becky) and Randy Chandler (Patricia); and her siblings, Jimmy Fortenberry, Eugene Fortenberry, Dot, Shirley and Hazel. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several great, great grandchildren.
