She was predeceased by: her son James Patrick Burrows; her grandson James Hunter Johnson; her parents, Arberry Garrett and Opal Garrett; and her sisters, Ilene Cox, Marie Tubbs, Helen Crook and Sharon Cronan Bozeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Burrows Hulsey of Piedmont; and her grandchildren, Rebekah Hulsey Weaver of Riverside, Ohio and Matthew Ratliff of Piedmont. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
