He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Forrister and Sarah Alice Williams Forrister; his sons, Jake C. Forrister and Allen Blake Forrister; his granddaughter Amelia Marie Forrister; and his siblings, Edward, Arthur, Jr., Floyd, Franklin, Sarah Langley Studdard, Caron Owen and Ellen Forrister.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Forrister, Zonna Green (Michael) and Whitney Forrister; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jalyn, Cameron, Averie and Ariar Forrister; and his sisters, Judy Barnes, Linda Motes, Rachel Medley, Teresa Timms and Missy Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goshen Valley Baptist Church (625 AL-9, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Howard's memory to Goshen Valley Baptist Church.
