She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Gilmer; her parents, J. C. McCain, and Nola Mae McCain, Sr.; and her siblings, J. C., Bill McCain and Marie Kirk.
She is survived by: her son Kenny Bruce Gilmer (Denise); her grandchildren, Debra Floyd (Tim), Penny Steed (Craig), Crystal Singleton (Derek), Jonathan Houck and Landon Gilmer (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Traeh Singleton, Emberlyn Garner and Slaydon Gilmer; and her sister-in-law Evellyn McCain. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
