He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Floyd and Roxie Burns Floyd; and his siblings, Howard, David, Edwin, Charles, Billy, Edna Kiser and Carolyn Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cole Floyd; his children, Holli Edwards (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Alabama and Brian Floyd (Carla) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Lesley Roper (Adam) of Leicester, Dale Edwards of Piedmont, Alabama, Jessica Floyd of Bluffton and Travis Floyd (Abbi) of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Fern Roper, Lance Edwards and Mae Roper; and his siblings, Larry Floyd (Brenda) of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, Jeanette Marshall of Rome, Georgia, Marie Kiser of Piedmont, Alabama and Brenda Grimes (Joe) of Jacksonville, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Piedmont Congregational Methodist Church or the Piedmont Rescue Squad.
