We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2022, at the age of 74, Filson Waits of Piedmont, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Waits and Jean Waits; and his brother Leon Waits. He is survived by: his aunts, Mary Helen Freeman, Paulie Brown and Nora Jean Brown; and his cousins, Ellijaye McGowan DuPree of Gadsden, Bonnifaye McGowan Lumsden of Anniston and Helen Godby of Piedmont.

Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the Piedmont Rescue Squad, P.O.Box 333, Piedmont, AL 36272.
