He was predeceased by: his parents, A. F. McFry and Pluma McFry; and his siblings, Charlie McFry, Polly Lawler, Horace McFry, Betty McFry Needham and Lena Gilmer McFry Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita W. McFry of Piedmont; and his nephew Paul Needham of Piedmont. He is also survived by several others nieces and nephews.
