With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Johnny Gossett Sr. of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on May 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Kiser Gossett; his wife Karen Hammett Gossett; his children, Jeffery Gossett and Michele Clontz; and his siblings, Gerald Gossett and Patsy Gossett.
He is survived by: his father Charles Edward; his children, Charles Johnny Gossett, Jr. (Vickie) and Rebecca Hayes (David); his sister Charlotte Hilton; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Easterwood (Josh), Heather Gossett, John Lontz, Marissa Williams (Matthew), Andrew Hayes, Alex Hayes, Sophi Hayes, Lela Hayes, Nora Hayes, Jeremiah Ashley, Kayla Green, Amber Newman and Mandy Kelley (Jeremy). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
The family will receive flowers or donations may be made to Inhabit Hospice.
