He was predeceased by: his parent Buford Nathan Floyd; and his siblings, Marjorie Floyd, Jeanette Floyd, Jean Formby, Edna Cromer and John Floyd.

He is survived by: his wife Ora Lee Floyd; his daughters, Brenda Colquett, Donna Hyde (Gary) and Lisa Sutter; and his siblings, Georgia Whisenant, Tommie Lee Brown (Guy), Wanda Gail Olsen and Archie Floyd. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
