She is survived by: her children, Rodney Slayton (Denise), Guy Mitchell Slayton (Margie), Ben Motes (Jan) and Dimples Kanipe (Shorty); and her sister Pat Maddox (Kenneth). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
