In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Allen Ray leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Allen Ray may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Fuqua; his parents, Virgil Fuqua and Vera Fuqua; and his brother Richard Fuqua. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Hastert (David) of Piedmont and Lori Tolbert (Michael) of Piedmont; his grandson Gary Hastert of Tuscaloosa; and his sisters, Sue Motes of Jacksonville and Jean Mann of Marietta, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory (6340 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Piedmont Memory Gardens (236 Vigo Rd, Borden Springs, AL 36272).
