She is survived by: her children, Linda Mordecai of Arizona, Jess Hooker (Alice) of Michigan and Lavelle Mays (Roger) of Phil Campbell; and her grandchildren, Debbie Martin (Casey), Derek Mays (Crystal), Denise Empel-Kazmar (Nick), Yvonne Hooker-Clement (Eric), James Mays (Karmyn), Angelia Burchum (Joel) and Amy Vandiver (Nick). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and other friends.
