He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Motes; his daughter-in-law Pam Motes; his sister Othelia Baker; his granddaughters, Miranda Hardy (Danny) and Melinda Swinney; his great grandchildren, Madison Thompson (Chad), Alli Gipson (Zach), Joe Hardy (Olivia), Boone Swinney and Macy Hardy; and his great great grandchildren, Kolton David Gipson, Kason Gipson, Barrett Thompson and Henry Hardy.
