He was predeceased by: his parents, Leathia Rice and Fred Rice; his siblings, Addison Rice, Edward O'Neal Rice and Willodean Rice Nix; and his granddaughter Shelby Lynn Grissom.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; his children, Alan Rice (Patti), Yolanda Odom (Gary) and Deborah Grissom (Keith); his grandchildren, Heather Smith (Clint), Amber Morgan (Jeremiah), Joslyn Garrison (Brett), Jonathan Odom (Mandy), Elizabeth Jalbert (Gene) and Addie Brown (Patrick); and his siblings, Louise Cook, Thomas Rice and J. P. Rice. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
