He was predeceased by: his parents, Almon Rivers and Ruth Rivers (Lamon); and his brothers, Michael Rivers and Clark Rivers. He is survived by: his wife Clara Peppers Rivers; his sons, David (Shelia), Michael, Randy, Roger and Kelly; his grandchildren, Brooke (Bret) and Cass (Renae); his great grandchild Carter of Owen, Hayden; and his siblings, Phyllis Ashford (Tommy), Lennie Ruth Ayers (Bill) and Garland Rivers. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
