He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kemper Talmadge and Lela Tompkins Glasgow Sr. James; his wife Ruby Britton Glasgow; his siblings, Kemper Glasgow Jr., Spencer L. Glasgow, Ross Wilmer Glasgow, Mildred Jane Ferry, Maxine Glasgow, John William Glasgow and Cecil Glasgow; his children, Jane G. Stonbraker (Mike) and James B. Glasgow (Cynthia C.); his siblings, Robert Houston Glasgow, Doris Sweda and Thomas Glasgow; and his grandchildren, Amy Jackson (Ashley), James William Vance (Heather), Anna Harper (Jayson), James C. Glasgow (Tai) and Ellen Olive (Anthony). He was also cherished by his fifteen great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 there will be a private immediate family only service on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL with Bro. Jess Smith officiating.
