She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Hale; her parents, Hubert Alexander and Rosa Alexander; her siblings, Roy Alexander, Ralph Alexander, Hoyle Alexander and Helen Brimer; and her brother-in-law Grady Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Hale, Pam Knight and Robin Poe (Randal); her sister Lucy Hale; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Knight, Danielle Self, Joseph Self and Chris Self; and her great grandchild Alexa Knight.
