He was predeceased by: his parents, William Silas and Elizabeth Taylor; his granddaughter Tina Borden Jones; and his daughter-in-law Pat Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Dessie Taylor; and his children, Kathy Borden (William), Deborah Heath (Hulon), Cindy Carter (Mike), Cecil Taylor (Peggy) and James Taylor. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
