With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Sue Morgan Smith of Phil Campbell, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Rex Morgan; her son Avery Morgan; her parents, C. J. Potter and Eliza Potter; and her siblings, Lorene Jones, Nadine Woodard, Earl Potter and Teddie Potter.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Smith; her daughter Anita Scott; her grandchildren, Derrick Scott (Lorie), Tiffany Bullington, Jeremy Morgan and Jerrod Morgan (Leigha); her great grandchildren, Chloe Scott, Chaley Bullington, Tiffin Bullington and Jake Morgan; and her stepdaughters, Regina Mullen (Jim) and Vivian Reynolds (Matt).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to East Franklin Junior High School, 1815 Hwy 89, Phil Campbell, AL 35581.
