She was predeceased by: her parents, S. Clifton Boutwell and Willie B. Sanders Boutwell; her husband James Patrick "JP" Pilkinton; and her siblings, Hazel B. Paul, Leo Boutwell and Glenn Boutwell.
She is survived by: her nephews, Rufus Boutwell, Mike Boutwell, Wiley Boutwell and Lamar Wynn; her daughter Debbie Pilkinton Bright of Phenix City, AL; her granddaughter Amy DeRee Marshall; and her great grandchildren, Gabe Marshall and Logan Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
