It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Thrift Tate of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on January 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Thrift and Opal Butler Thrift; and her siblings, Marilyn, Lisa Roberts and Jimmy Wayne Thrift.
She is survived by: her son Lee Tate (Amber) of Salem; her grandson Noah Tate; her brothers, Robert Thrift (Michelle) of Section and Scott Thrift (Jennifer) of Notasulga; her niece Kirstie Thrift; her nephews, Steve Whaley (Nichole) and Colby Thrift; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Summer Duffee (Channon), Paige Roberts, Aleshia Slaughter (Scott) and Phillip Roberts. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
