She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sanks and Lillie Mae Walton; her husband Solomon Miles, Jr.; her sons, Cugish Sanks, Cleveland Sanks and Elroy Miles, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Lillie Sanks; her sister Margaret Dawkins; her grandson Christopher Preer-Sanks; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Allen.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Simmons of Phenix City, AL, Patsy Luke, Jr. (Bradley) of Phenix City, AL, Melton Miles (Frances) of Columbus, GA, Michael Miles, Sr. (Janis Holly) of Columbus, GA and Solomon Miles, III of Columbus, GA; her daughter-in-law Sheila Sanks of Birmingham, AL; her sister-in-law Lillian Butts (Glen) of Phenix City, AL; and her grandchildren, Patronya Sanks, Lasondra Davis, Seldrick Tarver (Jamika), Nicole Tyler (Dearon), Cugish Sanks, Curtis Sanks, Brandi Miles, Triandos Luke (Lisa), Nicolas Luke, Brandon Miles, Kelcy Luke (Alyse), Varisha Powell, Michael Miles, Jr., Elroy Miles, Jr., Justin Miles, Blake Miles, Yasmin Miles, Tesha Temple (Prentiss) and Bryson Miles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
