She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Sherwood and Betty Mason Sherwood; and her sons, Gregory Scott Lyles, Doug Lyles, Jr. and Jeff Lyles (Stephanie).
She is survived by: her sister Melanie Thompson; her grandchildren, Haley Brown, Noah Brown and Emma Lyles; her nieces, Monica Tippett (Tim) and Marie Carter Morgan (Craig); and her nephew Chris Lyles (Belinda).
