She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elbert Long and Thelma Dorman Long; her husband Thomas Jack Duke, Sr.; and her brother James E. Long, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kelli Duke Curtis (Bill), Tommy Duke (Debra) of Phenix City, Toby Duke (Chiara) of Phenix City and Troy Duke (Leanne) of Phenix City; her siblings, Mary Susan Dean and John Long (Dorothy) of Bleeker, AL; and her grandchildren, Wade Higgins, T. J. Duke, Jason Duke, Matthew Higgins, Diane Bond, April Jacobs, John Curtis, Kristen Landrum, Aliah Sapp, Kara Coleman, Carter Duke, Kevin Duke and Anna Lea Wrenn. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and expecting more; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
