He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Harris and Daisy Hinson Harris; his wife Shirley Madge Lee Harris; his son Terry Harris; and his siblings, Roger Harris and Esther Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen "Kay" L. Harris of Phenix City, AL; his granddaughter Terri Michelle "Misty" Harris (Phillip Wells); and his great grandchildren, John Patrick Nelson and Zander Lloyd Wells. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
