He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bowers and Alma Odom Bowers; and his brother Eddis Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Michelle Buckner Bowers; his daughter Patty Bowers; his grandson Xavier Bowers; and his siblings, Clarese Floyd, Carmen Wilson, Charlot Lindsey, Connie Strickland, Carol Robinson, Kenny Bowers and Robin Bowers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
