He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Alexander and Ruth Gary Alexander; and his siblings, Michael Alexander, Joel Lee Alexander, Bernice Alexander Jenkins and Belinda Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Alexander; his children, Captain Timothy Jones (April), Orlando Williams, Dr. Shandra Thomas, Jennifer Ferguson (Joshua), Tiffany Nelson (David) and Tameka Rogers (Douglas Jr.); his siblings, James Gary (Peggy), Charlie Alexander, Jr. (KoKese), Willie Alexander (Anna), Curtis Alexander, Dorothy Glenn (Fred), Minister Judy Farley (Bob), Teresa Floyd (Melvin) and Lisa Jackson (Ervin); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Williams (Marilyn), Nathan Williams (Cathy), Keith Williams, Carrie Nell Corbin, Margaret McCory (Ernest), Barbara Loud (Frank) and Geraldine Williams. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
