It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Douglas Welch of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Homer Welch; and his siblings, Noreen Holder, Judy Cavette and Andrew Welch. He is survived by: his wife Becky Welch; his children, Traci McCutchen (Charles) and Christopher Welch (Annie); his grandchildren, Tamara McCutchen, Chelsea McCutchen and Eliah McCutchen; his sister Debbie Jackson; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Moore; and his nephew Michael Cavette (Kristen). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
