She was predeceased by: her parents, John McLain and Maude Strickland Holloway; and her daughter Tracey Elizabeth Ferree. She is survived by: her son James "Keith" Chester (Melissa Butler); her siblings, Sue Driggers, Jane McGowan and John McLain (Judy); her grandchildren, Hannah Chester (Micheal Danzey), Austin Chester and Rebecca Lavoie; and her great grandchildren, Makenzie Lavoie, Cameron Lavoie and Zadie Mae Danzey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
