He is survived by: his wife Patricia McClure Smith; his children, Lynn Jones (David) of Seale, AL, Susan Young (Marcus) of Navarre, FL, Carole Martinez (Gino) of Seale, AL, Janine McPhie (Andy) of Ellerslie, GA, Sara Jane Blackman (Douglas) of Cumming, GA, Raymond J. Smith (Julie) of Phenix City, AL and Daniels Smith (Cheryl) of Raymore, MO; and his siblings, Sally Payne (Hal) of Mt. Vernon, TX, Kenneth Smith (Linda), Bruce Smith (Marsha) of St. George, Scott Smith Beaverton (Judy) and Kevin Smith (Barbara) of Spokane Valley, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
