It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Prince Williams Jr. (Phenix City, Alabama), born in Hatchechubbee, Alabama, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Prince Edgar'Yank" Williams, Sr. and Maybelle Cooper; his sisters, Rev. Bernice Moore and Mary Williams; his daughter Mary Ann Key; and his great grandchild Rajkumari Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie B. Williams; his children, Harold "Hal" Key (Tracy) of Crawford, Tyrone Williams of Phenix City and Talaya Williams of Phenix City; his sisters, Louise Williams-Bibbs of East Chicago, IN, Katie Tucker-Thornton of Columbus, GA and Ollie Gary-Hensley of Marietta, GA; and his cousin Shari Williams-Jordan. He is also survived by six grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
