It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Joyce Shafer (Phenix City, Alabama), born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ennis W. Thorn and Marlene Joyce Thorn; her husband Gary Shafer; her sons, Jacob Shafer (Holly) of Monroe, WA, Nathan Shafer (Laura) of Opelika, AL, Daniel Shafer of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Shafer of Smiths Station, AL and Zachary Shafer of Smiths Station, AL; her sisters, Barbara Pitman (Kevin), Janie Reid (Kirk) of Lancaster, TX and Lisa Sheehan (Tommy) of Choctaw, OK; and her grandchildren, Lily, Clover, Callie, Juniper, Tansy, Aella and Ophelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mrs. Shafer's memory.
