It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nettie Ree Elmore Floyd of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Cottonwood, Alabama, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willie Elmore and Lonnie Mae Woodham Elmore; her husband Barnie Edward Floyd; and her daughter Bobbie Jean Williams. She is survived by: her daughter Nora Ann King (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL; her sister Lois Marie Osborn of Smiths Station, AL; her granddaughters, Angela Williams, Kathy Jo Dades (Jody), Kimberly King and Holly King; her great grandchildren, Michael Ray, Stephen Russell, Tori, Casey and Jamie; and her great great grandchildren, Grayson Ray William Strickland, Harper and Kyler Dades. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
