With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Statham Smoke Harden of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison C. Statham and Leola Nelson Statham; her former husband William L. Smoke, Jr.; her husband William F. Harden; her brother Wiley C. Statham; and her grandchildren, Eric Smoke and Shea Bamberg.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Smoke (Cathy) of Helena, AL and Sidney F. Harden (Janice) of Salem, AL; and her grandchildren, Tracy Reitzammer, Scott Edwards, Sabrina Smoke and Erin Harden. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
