She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Eugene Woods and Mildred Jeanette Holmes Vela; her grandfathers, Clyde Marie Holmes and Grady Dewey Holmes; and her brothers, Raymond Woods, Troy Woods, Sydney Woods and Leroy Woods.
She is survived by: her former husband John Wayne Jacobs, Sr.; her children, Karen Jacobs Parker (Chad Parker), John Wayne Jacobs, Jr. (Tina Harris Jacobs) and Candice Lee Petty; her grandchildren, Megan Dunn Adams (Johnathan), John Gage Jacobs, Zackery Chase Dunn, Ashlynn Jacobs (Jayce Swint), Dawson Dunn (Nicole), Devin Dunn (Makayla), Cason Taylor and Dakota Taylor; her great grandchildren, McKenna Adams, Caselynn Adams, Karyson Dunn, Natalee Dunn, Dylan Adams, Nikki Adams and Bentley Swint; her brothers, Terry Hand (Leanna) and Gary Woods (Deborah); her sisters-in-law, Kim Woods and Elizabeth Woods; and her close friend Randy Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other special family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
