It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mamie Leona Menefee of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Wilson and Alzada Perry Wilson; her husband Benjamin Menefee, Sr.; her son Wilbur F. Menefee; her stepdaughter Lois Jordan; and her siblings, Lonnie Wilson, Jr., Sarah Clay and Eliza Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Menefee, Jr. and Arrie F. Carson of Phenix City, AL; her sister Mary Williams of Columbus, GA; and her brother-in-law Dea. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
