He is survived by: his mother Delma Baker Hurst of Phenix City; his children, Jamie Mitchem of Maiden, NC and Andy Hurst of Conover, NC; his siblings, Ann McVay of Phenix City, AL, Jim Hurst (Sharon) of Phenix City, AL, Rick Hurst of Phenix City, AL, Bill Hurst of Phenix City, AL and Robert Hurst (Selena) of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Brooke Tresar, Autumn Mitchem and Landon Hurst; and his great grandchildren, McKinlee, Damon and Grayson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
