She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Evans and Willie Pearl Evans; her husband Newton Henry; and her siblings, Bobby, Annie Pearl, Charles, John Fred and Dorothy.

She is survived by: her siblings, Willie James, Ella, Phyllis, Michael and Joyce. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
