She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Carnes and Mary Alice Lyles Carnes; her husband Leroy Chambers; her grandparents, Jimmy, Marie Lyles, Mose and Annabelle Thomas; her siblings, Andrew Carnes, Jr., Roger Carnes, James Carnes, Virginia Carnes and Vera Carnes; and her brothers-in-law, Archie Cotton, Sr. and Willie James Preer.
She is survived by: her children, Lashone Chambers of Phenix City, AL and Terill Chambers (Almethia) of Phenix City, AL; her grandson Terrance Laney (Irene) of Phenix City, AL; her siblings, Alberta Cotton of Phenix City, AL, Walter Carnes (Lillie) of Phenix City, AL, Cecil Carnes (Janice) of Phenix City, AL and Willie B. Carnes (Bertina) of Columbus, GA; her sisters-in-law, Katie Carnes of Phenix City, AL and Jesse Mae Preer of Phenix City, AL; and her godchild Allyshiana Bryant of Columbus, GA. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
