She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Eugene Pope and Miranda Irene Hoffman Pope; her siblings, Billie Jean Pope Hartwell of Phenix City, AL and Donnie Ray Pope of Columbus, GA; her husband Charles "Ted" Taylor of Phenix City, AL; and her son Dr. C. Gary Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Charmer Mathis (David) of Phenix City, AL, Jackie Taylor of Phenix City, AL, Janet Taylor Nilsen of Phenix City, AL and Keith Taylor (Dawn) of Smiths Station, AL; her daughter-in-law Barbara W. Taylor; and her sister Bonnie Kendrix of Vicksburg, MS. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Mrs. Taylor's favorite charitable organization, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
