It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Gray of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Douglas Hundley; and her grandparents, Clifford, Fannie Lou Owens, Ed and Gwen Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Lucile Owens Hundley of Midland, Georgia; her friend Auburn; her husband Mike Gray of Phenix City; her children, Ashley Harrison (Ryan) of Phenix City, Rhonda Sampson of Smiths Station, Alabama and Tyler Gray (Caylyn) of Phenix City; her brother Chris Hundley of Seale, Alabama; her grandchildren, Chandler Harrison, Ellie Harrison, Amber Sampson and Trey Sampson; and her great grandchild Gage Pearce. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
