He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hutchens and Rosie Belle Hutchens; his siblings, Clyde Hutchens and Geraldine Maynard; and his wife Linda.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Hutchens and Amy Evans (Ron); his grandchildren, Brandon Hutchens, Hayden Evans (Gage), Coleton Evans and Megan Schott (Jamme); and his great grandchildren, Emory Lee Davidson and Kaden Schott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
