He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Kasych. He is survived by: his significant other Lorrie Lacek; his son Jonathan (Jennifer); his granddaughter Stella; his sister-in-law Barbara; his nephews, Thomas Jr. (Kat), Keith (Cindy), Kevin (Laura) and Chris (Luana); and his pet Tulip.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Patrick's Church or The Church of the Holy Family, or Epworth Church mobility cart Ministry, Phenix City Alabama , in Jack's memory.

“Heard about John’s (Jack to all of us that grew up with him) passing and quite shocked. We were neighbors on Maplecliff Dr. we lived about 4 doors away and literally grew up together from the earliest age as little kids. At very young ages we did almost everything together like playing in the massive backyard that his father had designed. The treat was their pond that we would play in and around. I could write a book but I am limited in this message section. Peace be with you. Don Guta”
