He is survived by: his wife Judy Chadwick Grimes; his children, Mark Grimes (Elizabeth), Christopher Bryant Grimes (Melody), Leslie Strickland, Darrell Brown (Regina), Missy Dockins (Allen), Ron Thaxton (Jennifer) and Diana Gail Gregory; his brothers, David Grimes (Terry) and Ramsey Paul Grimes (Debbie); his grandchildren, Haley Kirkman, Jordan Finley (Dakota), Isaac Grimes (Leigh), Jesse Grimes, Trucker Grimes (Brianna), Ashton Grimes, Launa Grimes, Kiyoshi Berryhill and Kaya Berryhill; and his great grandchildren, William Grimes, Ava Finley, Addison Finley and Rowan Finley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
