He is survived by: his daughters, Shanise Whittlesey-Thomason and Sharone Whittlesey; his grandchildren, Jamecia Simmons, Chelsea Whittlesey, Chyna Pritchett and Christopher Pritchett; and his siblings, Ulysses Upshaw (Jessie), Tommy Jackson (Claudine), Johnnie Lee Jackson (Earnestine), Charles Upshaw, Jessie Jackson, Arthur Jackson, Sadie Floyd (Tony), Gloria Brunson, Izola Upshaw, Betty Upshaw Rutherford, Lucille Upshaw Mitchell and Rebecca Hamilton Howard. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, a devoted cousin, Homer Word, nephews, clients and friends and a devoted cousin.
