He is survived by: his wife Fanny Smith Culpepper of Phenix City, AL; his children, Jeri Neel (Eric) and Scott Culpepper (Pam); his grandchildren, Cain Culpepper (Magen), Cara Culpepper Livingston (Jacob), Dalton Dempsey (Cheyenne) and Dillon Dempsey (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Joleigh, Maley, Brookely, Lane, Ada, Kylie, Raelynn Rose and Nathan; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Reddish and Donnie James Smith (Tammy). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
