It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Cooper of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cooper and Ardella Cooper Butler. He is survived by: his brothers, Arthur and Raymond Cooper; his wife Mary Cooper; his nieces and nephews, Chantinell Trimble, Angela None Reed, Stacy Thomas and Min; his siblings, Susie "Jerry" Cooper and Charles Colquitt; his sisters-in-law, Frankie Cooper and Cheryl Cooper; and his brother Deacon Marcus Wilson.
