He was predeceased by: his parents, Tannis Carlton Murphy and Mary Alice Murphy (Hood); his wife Wanda Jean Murphy; his son Randy Murphy; his great grandchild Matthew Carlton Martin; and his brother Mike Murphy.
He is survived by: his son Stephen Morris Murphy; his grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy, Misti Murphy, Randy Murphy, Justin Murphy and Stephanie Murphy; and his brother Wayne Murphy. He is also survived by 15 Great-Grandchildren, and five Great-Great-Great Grandchildren.
