He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Battle (Lisha) of Ellenwood, GA and Rodriguez Battle of Houston Texas; his siblings, Leon, Howard Battle (Andria) of Phenix City, AL. and Doris Amerson of Hurtsboro, AL.; and his aunts and uncles, Ruth Beverly of Brooklyn, NY, Beverly Jackson (James) of Eufaula, AL., Rev. King Beverly of Lima, OH and Rev. David Watts of Cleveland, OH.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great -grandchild.
