She was predeceased by: her parents, Chandler Chalkley and Eva Chalkley; her husband Charles Milton Durden; and her son Charles Joseph Durden. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Wyrick (Richard) of Phenix City; her grandchildren, Abigail Buch (Philip) of Phenix City and Joseph Chandler Jones (Esther) of Elgin, Oklahoma; and her great grandchild Catherine Isabelle Jones of Crowly Tx. She is also survived by true friend and a guiding light to her family.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ladonia Baptist Church (3789 US-80, Phenix City, AL 36870).
